bookstacks are my favorite thing! what did you think of bossypants? and now you’re reading ‘life’!!!

I am trying to sort my books by genre (because whenever I am “cleaning my room” I really am “reorganizing my bookshelf”) but I keep coming up with new categories! Do I have enough sci-fi to merit a separate group from fantasy? What constitutes a “classic”? 

I liked Bossypants! I enjoyed the parts about her childhood because I like when people talk about how boring the suburbs of Philadelphia are, and I enjoyed the parts about her adulthood because I like when autobiographies don’t talk just about the author’s life but also about the field they work in. 

Although I gotta say, as far as “recent and upcoming books by female comedy writers” go, I suspect Mindy Kaling’s is going to blow Tina Fey’s out of the water. IS IT NOVEMBER YET????
